    The Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association is dedicated to preserving not only the stories of keepers and their families, but ultimately rebuilding the lighthouses themselves. Stationed in Mackinaw City, Michigan, the non-profit is caretaker of the St Helena lighthouse as well as the Cheboygan Range Light. GLLKA also has a quarterly magazine, The Beacon, that showcases maritime history and preservation projects.
