Federal Bureau of Prisons

  • About Us

At the Federal Bureau of Prisons, we provide adults in custody with programs that provide skills and resources so they can return home to our communities better equipped for success. Our volunteers collaborate with highly trained, passionate staff in a safe environment to share their knowledge and skills with adults in custody. Through evidence-based programs, volunteers help guide incarcerated individuals as they work toward a certification, credential, or degree in their desired skill area. We offer wide variety of courses in areas such as education, health and wellness, relationships and personal development, faith, and so much more. Interested volunteers can learn more about FBOP volunteer programs, explore available volunteer opportunities, and apply on The Inside Influence.
