    Program Mission: By creating a supportive and vibrant adult learning community, we provide a safe environment for reading and writing practice where individuals take risks and grow towards leadership to make positive changes in their lives and communities. FREE small groups, computer skills labs, job readiness classes and one-to-one tutoring for reading, writing, spelling and comprehension are offered by the Write to Read Adult Literacy program at the Alameda County Library branches and at community locations such as neighborhood centers and aprtment complexes. Branches are located in Fremont, Newark, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Dublin and Albany.
