  • About Us

La Conner Swinomish Library is a small, rural library in Washington State, located in the Town of La Conner and serving 5,000 residents from the town, the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, Shelter Bay and surrounding areas. Our library's mission is to create a safe, supportive and welcoming place for lifelong learning, discovery, and personal growth. We look to create connections with our community and to offer culturally literate programs to promote cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. We value lifelong learning and literacy, intellectual freedom, the individual, community and culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion, the natural environment and a spirit of service.
