  • About Us

    The Ombudsman program is looking for people interested in acting as advocates for residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. As an advocate you will be assisting residents to resolve their complaints concerning their care or other issues at the facility. This may include interfacing with the facility staff, residents family and outside agencies. You will also make regular facility visits, investigate allegations of abuse and neglect and advocate to improve resident quality of life with a focus on maintaining resident rights.The mission of the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program is to advocate for the dignity, quality of life and quality of care for residents in long term care facilities.
