    Lew Tabackin is celebrated for his vivid, expressive sound that has captivated audiences worldwide for over five decades. Known for his striking versatility on both tenor sax and flute, Tabackin has worked alongside jazz legends like Elvin Jones, Clark Terry, and Toshiko Akiyoshi, with whom he co-led the renowned Toshiko Akiyoshi-Lew Tabackin Big Band.

    Tabackin’s lyrical, impressionistic flute playing, and his fiery, bold tenor saxophone performances have garnered him acclaim as one of jazz’s most distinctive voices. Join us as Tabackin performs with his stellar quartet, featuring pianist Bruce Barth and drummer Jason Tiemann, for a night of mesmerizing improvisation and classic jazz.
