    Musical Life Competition and Composers in Residence

    Musical Life International Competition is open to serious young musicians in piano, strings (violin, viola and cello) and small chamber ensembles, ages 18 and under. All applicants have the opportunity to audition live in New York or can audition via youtube, and receive constructive comments from our esteemed jury. Winners perform in celebrated concert halls including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall, and may receive additional recognition. Apply online by Feb. 10th, 2025.

    Composers in Residence is a unique opportunity for rising composers to have their original works premiered at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall or Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center in New York, are featured on our website, and may receive for further feature opportunities. Composers may perform their own original work, have their work performed by a Musical Life Competition Winner (category 3) or a professional musician hired by Musical Life Foundation. Apply online by Feb. 2025.
