About Us
Outreach International is a gap organisation established in 1998 to address the needs of a rubbish dump community in Mexico. It has grown over the years and now works in eight countries across the world. We have however remained small and personal. We support a range of grass root, humanitarian and environmental causes by placing selected volunteers to work for them. These include orphanages, disabled people, physiotherapy, street children, educational programmes, rainforest conservation, animal rights and humanitarian work.
Most of our volunteers are gap year students aged 18 -21 but over 30% are older people with professional qualifications taking a career break.
