Federal Practice Group (FPG), LLC is a small business committed to helping federal and state government clients achieve their goals in affordable housing programs. We formed in 2006, spinning off from a real estate investment firm turning its focus away from government consulting; the initial FPG partners were passionate about continuing this practice and set out on their own.
Our mission is to empower our clients to better the lives of vulnerable Americans using the tools of affordable housing programs. Today, we solve problems by integrating the disciplines of real estate finance, policy, property management, green building, and government agency operations. The work focuses on modernizing and rehabilitating the existing stock of income-restricted affordable housing, improving its energy efficiency and livability. Our model is to integrate our staff into an agency to understand its operational and housing challenges, plan systems that put others in a place to succeed, and then help to execute the programs.
We work hard to sustain long term, lasting relationships with the people and agencies with whom we collaborate. Our lasting assignments, including our decade-plus relationship with HUD, bring us the most pride of anything we accomplish. We rely on a dedicated group of staff and teaming partners to produce high quality, adaptable, and scale-able results.
