Urban3 works to inspire communities of all sizes to think differently about development, land use, and public policy through data-driven storytelling. Urban3 is a team of strategists, urbanists, analysts, and change-makers who work together to include everyone in conversations about growth and help communities make smarter decisions about future development, design, and public policy. Through mapping the financial health of built environments, we show communities the true value of good design. We believe everyone should be able to participate in conversations around fiscal health.  We expose a community’s economic inefficiencies, illuminate the ramifications of land use patterns, and demystify complex tax systems with graphic visualizations and data-driven storytelling. Our work empowers citizens, developers, and elected officials with knowledge to make responsible future development decisions. Because meaningful conversation is how change begins. We want to put an end to unsustainable and inhuman development practices, one community at a time.
