Founded in 2003, Maximo Nivel is the leading study abroad and educational travel provider in Latin America. Our 4 intercultural centers are locally-based organizations focused on international education, languages, and cross-cultural experiences. We offer our Volunteer Abroad, International Internships, TEFL Certification, Native Spanish Program, Adventure & Culture programs, and our Intensive English Program in 3 of the world's most beautiful countries — Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru

VOLUNTEER ABROAD PROGRAMS include Working with Kids, Medical & Healthcare, Construction, Conservation, Eco-Agriculture, Teaching English, Animal Care, and Indigenous Communities. Maximo Nivel’s volunteer programs provide unique opportunities to live and work in Latin America, while giving back to the global community.

INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS include Education, Special Education, Hospitality & Tourism, Human Rights, Micro-Business, and Medicine. Maximo Nivel's internships are personalized placements that offer professional work experience, Spanish language practice, and great networking opportunities.

NATIVE SPANISH PROGRAM offers both general and specialized Spanish immersion classes in all three of our locations. Native Spanish instructors provide classes in small groups, one-on-one, and online. Classes in general Spanish, Spanish for Business, and Medical Spanish are available year-round.

TEFL CERTIFICATION is a 4 week/150 hour teaching certification for people who want to teach English as a Second Language anywhere in the world! The TEFL Certification course provides world-class training in teaching English to non-native speakers.
