We are 25 artisan women from San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. We work
in our homes, using our natural dying and weaving traditions to generate income that will help better our lives.
The group enables us to preserve local artisan traditions. It also gives us the capacity to contribute financially to our families, helping to make us equal partners with our husbands. This capacity gives us the power to make spending decisions that contribute to our children’s education and general well-being.
