Apus Peru is a sustainable trekking and tour company based in Cusco, Peru. We follow economically, culturally and environmentally responsible guidelines. We were the first company in Cusco to be verified sustainable by the Rainforest Alliance. As an extension of our responsible travel practices, we offer honest, real and frank services to our clients.

Apus Peru specializes in “off-the-beaten-track” travel experiences. Our focus is on alternative treks that few other agencies offer, unique takes on the classic routes, and community rural tourism experiences. We want to show the “real” Peru to our travelers and cultivate authentic experiences. 

Our commitment to responsible tourism includes giving back to local communities ($20 from every trekker is donated to our sister non-profit, Threads of Peru), using environmentally friendly practices (like reusable containers for boxed lunches instead of Styrofoam), and treating all of our staff fairly and with respect.
