About Us
We've got two goals at Scoot: 1) Make it easier & more fun to get around the city without getting into a car 2) Speed up the electric vehicle revolution.
Towards that end, we’ve already made $5 personal electric transportation a reality in San Francisco by combining electric scooters with smartphones in a system that allows for 30 MPH, one way trips between any Scoot location. As fast as a taxi and as affordable as the bus, Scoot is custom made for our increasingly connected and crowded city lives.
We currently have 35 scooters at 12 locations across SF, but plan to cover the city with hundreds of scoots and move on to other parts of the country in the not-too-distant future.
