Sylvan Learning Center (Blue Ocean LLC)

Sylvan Learning Center (Blue Ocean LLC) acts as the academic arm for the Texas AIM Initiative since 2014 across many sites in southeast Texas. This important grant program provides free academic services, both small-group instruction and inspiring hands-on camps, to struggling youths. This program also brings free parent workshops to local communities so parents can be empowered with important study skills strategies to use at home. Sylvan is also a state-approved Supplemental Special Education Services Provider in Texas, offering free tutoring services to qualifying students in reading, math, writing or study skills (as a way to combat the effects of vulnerable learning populations hardest hit during the COVID academic disruptions). Our centers also offer year-round access to free practice SAT or ACT exams/ consultations for college-bound high schoolers. We also offers scholarship programs for personalized tutoring services to qualifying families.
