Employment Type: Part-Time (8 weeks Fall / 8 weeks Spring)
Job Title: Arts & Crafts Instructor
Start Date: Tentative Date (September 9, 2024)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, (8-10 hours/week)
Work Hours: Between 2:30 - 5:00 PM
Location: Santa Clarita Valley
Pay: $30 Hourly
Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in arts and crafts projects (High School and JHS)
- Lead 90-minute art classes with provided curriculum
- Prepare materials, including mixing paint and distributing supplies
- Take photos and record short videos during class
- Inspire and motivate students to embrace entrepreneurship
Skills/Requirements:
- Experience freelancing, exhibiting, and selling art
- Provide a digital portfolio for consideration
- Versatile in various arts and crafts
- Experience working with students in classrooms or after-school programs
- Pass a background check via fingerprinting before hiring
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
