    Write On Fundraising brings equity and compassion to philanthropy by facilitating access and amplifying voices to increase capacity, influence communities, and invest in people and organizations. We accomplish this by serving as a bridge between traditional fundraising practices and new upstream methodologies. Simply put, we provide fresh fundraising solutions for high-impact nonprofits through grant writing, individual giving, training and education, and capital campaign services.

    Our innovative team collaborates remotely across the U.S. and is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma.     The Manager of Learning and Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for facilitating a positive onboarding and training experience for new employees, safeguarding and advancing company culture, and providing ongoing professional development training to all team members. The starting salary for this position is $50,000 - 65,000 based on experience. Health, vision, and dental benefits are available. The Manager of Learning and Development reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

    Training

    • Develop training curriculum and materials (to include training videos, workbooks, and practice materials) that introduce newly hired writers to Write On’s unique fundraising processes and procedures
    • Steward new hires through their first 90 days of employment with Write On, ensuring that development milestones are met, and goals are set for skills acquisition and success
    • Work with team leaders to assign new hires initial assignments, collaboratively overseeing and directing their efforts for the first 45 days of employment
    • Provide feedback and coaching on soft skills such as client communication, contractor relations, and systems utilization

    Coaching

    • Serve as a resource for team leaders in providing coaching and performance feedback to employees
    • Coach team members on areas of concern; provide additional training and resources when needed
    • Partner with Human Resources to escalate and resolve persistent performance issues, including making Performance Improvement Plan recommendations and providing team member support when needed

    Continuing Education

    • Leverage evolving best practices to develop regular continuing education opportunities and accountability tools for writers and managers
    • Deliver continuing education content and provide evaluation on the implementation of new business tools to managers

    Culture Advocate

    • Serve as Write On’s culture advocate to all employees, ensuring that the company’s core values are lived through each team members’ work and clearly demonstrated to our clients
    • Oversee and guide the work of culture task forces and special initiatives
    • Ensure that all team members are engaging in culture-building activities, both planned and organic
    • Provide resources and tools to managers to grow culture competency within Write On

    Process and Systems Improvement

    • Collect and catalog feedback from internal and external stakeholders for continual process and systems improvement
    • Identify and escalate priorities to the leadership team for review; Recommend investments to facilitate new processes and systems
    • Work with key stakeholders and leadership team to develop new processes and systems to better support the organization’s team members and clients
    • Lead new process and systems implementation by providing training and follow-up to all team members
