About Us
Farm to Pantry was founded in 2008 in response to a lack of available fresh produce for the most vulnerable members of the local area surrounding Healdsburg, California. Farm to Pantry’s mission is to nourish those who are hungry or have limited access to nutritious produce. We carry out our mission by engaging volunteer gleaners who harvest from local growers fresh produce that would otherwise go uneaten. The produce is distributed to nonprofit organizations that provide food to those in need. Additionally, Farm to Pantry develops and supports local projects that connect and educate the community about the need for and the benefit of nutritious produce for all.
