  • Sobre Nós

Help A Girl Out (HAGO) is an anti-poverty organization that aims to eliminate poverty and implement the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (1, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13), emphasizing menstrual education and equity. We take pride in our passion and dedication to making sustainable change.

HAGO has received local and international awards such as Canada's Hero Award and Community Impact Award. HAGO has also received recognition from the Ministry of Women's Social and Economic Opportunity, the City of Brampton, the City of Richmond Hill, and Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).

Unlike many other menstrual equity organizations in Canada, HAGO has carved out a unique environmentally sustainable program to address period poverty. This has been an enormous undertaking and significantly impacted the period movement in Canada.
