Trust Respect Access

Trust Respect Access is a coalition of reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations in Texas who have come together in support of compassionate care and proactive policies that:

• restore trust in Texans to make their own reproductive health care decisions
• respect the dignity of Texans and the judgment of abortion providers and other health care professionals 
• restore full access to abortion care

We bring together organizations and advocates from across the state who are committed to these shared values: ​

TRA is here for Texas. Our lawmakers have banned abortion in our state, but we’re still working to meet Texans where they are as they seek access to essential health care when they need it, how they need it. From the panhandle to the southern border, we support the communities most impacted by new reproductive care restrictions and fight to restore Texans’ right to make their own decisions about their health, including the decision to have an abortion. 

In addition to providing tangible support like legal assistance, post-birth care, and financial aid for birthing people, our partners advocate for the repeal of medically unnecessary abortion bans and other reproductive health restrictions, the end of criminalizing and discriminating against reproductive and gender-affirming care, increased insurance coverage under proposed legislation like Rosie’s Law, increased access to contraception, and more.
