    ABOUT DIGNITY HOSPICE ™: Dignity Hospice™ provides patients and loved ones with personalized end-of-life care and support with compassion and respect – in the comfort of home.

    VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: If you enjoy working with older adults with terminal illnesses at the end-of-life (including - cancer, Alzheimer’s dementia and other diseases), as well as to be included in interdisciplinary team meetings, then this is a great opportunity for you! 

    JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

    The Hospice Volunteer provides patient care and support services, as well as administrative assistance (if appropriate), according to his/her/their experience and training and in compliance with organization policies. 

     Hospice Volunteers play an integral role in the care continuum - from providing companionship, communication, reading, and lots more - to helping office staff with administrative tasks and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings.
