  • About Us

The educational goal of the William Woodward, Jr. Nursery school is to nurture the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each one of its students.

At Woodward, teachers facilitate and instill in every child competence, self-confidence and a gradual independence. They guide the students in cheerful, child-centered classrooms, fostering a love of learning and exploring, trying and doing.

The Woodward community is both national and international. The staff is skilled in developing communication between English-speaking children and children whose primary language is other than English. Woodward's unique and diverse community remains as one if its most valued and enriching features.
