    Position Summary

    AFS International is looking for an Ed Products Associate to join our digital education programs team. This position is full time and based in our office in NYC or remote. In this role, you’ll be regularly interacting with the Global Up Team and AFS International. The primary clients you’ll work with are from US Higher Education Institutions and other external organizations where you’ll share the Global Up suite of ed offerings and take prospective clients through the implementation process as it pertains to their work, course, or study abroad programs. You’ll have the chance to develop persuasive presentations, work with people around the world, be part of a mission driven non-profit that is seeking to create a more just and peaceful world. This position reports to the Director, Global Education Innovation, and works in collaboration with the Educational Products Manager and is part of a unit that serves external and internal partners worldwide.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Provide Global UP Program Administrative Support
      • Manage the support inbox & provide client solutions through direct support (e.g. sharing resources, clarifying functionality) and/or internally escalating client requests
      • Maintain Salesforce CRM in accordance with the team sales process
      • Support & maintain updated product training & documentation
      • Administer LMS enrollment operations and maintain detailed records
      • Support billing process through detailed enrollment process tracking
      • Support unit marketing materials/presentations & slide decks
      • Support internal training initiatives.
      • Issue microcredential badges through external vendor
      • Prepare docs/folders for each programmatic year in shared drive
      • Help create basic reports, as needed
    • Manage Learning Management System and Educational Materials
      • Create courses, programs, checkpoints, etc. in LMS
      • Update and replicate content as needed
      • Create & prepare sub accounts with programs
      • Troubleshoot/escalate user error support issues with external LMS
      • Follow standard procedures for proper documentation issues to the appropriate internal teams
      • Attend LMS external provider monthly meetings
      • Update digital education curriculum - handbooks, slides, manuals when needed
      • Maintain updated digital education programs directory
    • Support unit & network-wide special events
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Skills:

    • Minimum BA in related field
    • Learning Management Systems (Blackboard, Bridge, D2L ), Salesforce experience Comfortable delivering virtual presentations to potential customers and clients
    • Experience working with educational programs and teaching/training (preferably in adult and/or non-formal education, and with blended learning approaches)
    • Ability to work with websites and technical tools
    • Customer-service oriented
    • Professional command of English language necessary (additional languages preferred)
    • Ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks and projects
    • Ability to operate independently and within a team environment
    • Good organizational skills, interpersonal skills and intercultural sensitivity
    • Experience with GSuite: Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Workspace
    • Available to work Eastern-standard time zone workday; domestic & international travel - 10%

    Preferred skills/experience:

    • Highly motivated and ambitious; Experienced in working on a virtual team
