Position Summary

Working in collaboration with the Institutional Research and Data Services team, supports AACN’s institutional data systems and databases, and other AACN research and data surveys and initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Supports AACN’s Institutional Data Systems and Research and Data initiatives by:

• Working with the Research and Data team to manage annual IDS survey including preparing materials and disseminating surveys.

• Supports data editing, validating/verifying data, performing consistency checks.

• Conducts data analysis, data entry and data downloads.

• Supports preparation of annual survey reports including designing layout and perform maintenance of all IDS tables for annual survey data collection.

• Generates custom data reports and other reports as requested.

• Supports other department data requests and analysis as requested.

Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in research or data analysis is required.

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Work experience in healthcare or education preferred.

Must be highly organized, detail oriented, flexible and collaborative, and have goodinterpersonal skills. Excellent ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Significant experience with management of large databases; knowledge of SPSS, Access, R, R Shiny, and Tableau (or other BI tool), and Qualtrics preferred. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with standard office equipment and practices including use of computers, email etiquette, phones, photocopiers, filing and organizing.

Compensation Range

$60,000 - $78,000
