Internship in The West Bank (One Month - Three Months) 2024/2025

The Internship in the West Bank Program (One Month -Three Months) is an inclusive program that aims to give the interns the opportunity to experience living in Palestine, learn the Arabic language, and help Palestinians by teaching English and improving their conversational skills.

The Internship in the West Bank Program also includes getting to know the other aspects of Palestine, including the human rights situation in Palestine, the challenges of the Palestinian media, getting to know the Palestinian narrative of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through field visits/meetings targeting governmental and non-governmental institutions as well as meeting with activists and field researchers.

The internship in Palestine program is meant to give you an inclusive experience of Palestine. You will get the chance to learn Arabic, learn about different aspects of Palestine, teach English to Palestinians and immerse yourself in the Palestinian culture. The minimum period is one month up to three months.

Intensive Arabic Classes – Individual Classes

• The center will provide you with 40 hours of Arabic is you register for a month and 80 hours for two months and 120 hours for three months.
• You choose to study Modern-Standard Arabic or Palestinian Dialect, or a combination of both.
• The internship program provides you the opportunity to practice the language with native speakers.

Learn Different Aspects Of Palestine & Visit Refugees Camps In Hebron And Bethlehem

• Field trips through a guide who speaks fluent English to governmental and non-governmental institutions and meets with activists working in the field of Human Rights, Law, Media, and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.
• The internship in the West Bank/Palestine program includes visiting refugee camps in Hebron and Bethlehem.
• During the visit, you will get the chance to meet refugees, listen to their stories and ask them questions

Teach Conversational English To Palestinian Youth (Individual Classes)

• During your internship, you’ll teach conversational English to Palestinians (one-to-one classes/ Intermediate Level)
• You will be teaching at least four individual classes a week/ 2 hours for each class.
• You will be focusing on the conversational part of English which includes how to deal with situations and how to answer questions.
• Don’t worry, we’ll provide you with our teaching material.

If you can’t go to Palestine but want to help Palestinians by teaching English online, the “ONLINE Teaching English to Palestinians” program is perfect for you. In this program, you can have one-on-one English lessons with Palestinian students and, at the same time, learn Arabic from one of our qualified instructors.

The ONLINE Teaching English to Palestinians program is designed for people who want to teach English to Palestinians and be part of the Palestinian community. You can use video chat apps like Skype, WhatsApp, Google Meeting, ZOOM, and others to conduct these online lessons and build meaningful connections.
