National Partnership for Women & Families

  • About Us

At the National Partnership for Women & Families, we believe that actions speak louder than words, and for more than 45 years we have fought for every major policy advance that has helped women and families. Today, we promote reproductive health and rights, quality health care, fairness in the workplace, and policies that help women and men manage the dual demands of work and family. Founded in 1971 as the Women's Legal Defense Fund, the National Partnership for Women & Families is a nonprofit, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization located in Washington, D.C.

The National Partnership is an equal opportunity employer. We value a diverse workforce and seek applications from all qualified individuals without regard to gender, race, color, national origin, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status or any other factor protected by law. Women, men, people of color, people with disabilities, LGBTQI individuals and veterans are encouraged to apply. Please see "EEO is the Law" for more information on Equal Employment Opportunities.
