About Us
The Gulu International Kindergarten is a parent cooperative initiative that was begun in February 2013. Our mission is to provide our kids between 3 and 5 years old the best possible nurturing learning environment to explore, play, learn and grow. We believe that children learn through play, work in groups and social relationships with their peers, parents and teachers. It is the first and only early childhood development option with a child-centred learning philosophy in Gulu. It was inspired by the ideas of Montessori and Reggio Emilia. We are committed to a ratio of not more than 7 children per teacher.
