About Us
The Urbandale Food Pantry (UFP) is a collaborative community effort to reach out to our neighbors to provide food assistance with dignity and compassion. UFP partners with the Des Moines Area Religious Council (DMARC), the Urbandale Ministerial Alliance, local churches, civic organizations, city officials, and area residents to provide supplemental food for residents of Urbandale and Windsor Heights, Iowa, with need.
The Urbandale Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization.
We employ a full-time Executive Director and a part-time Assistant. We are staffed by volunteers who share the desire to fulfill the food pantry's mission of helping our neighbors in need. An eleven-member board provides strategic vision and monitors UFP's fiscal and operational integrity.
