CodeNow is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit transforming underserved youth into coders, designers, and product managers by teaching them to solve meaningful problems in their communities with software. CodeNow teaches high school students through weekend workshops, online courses, hackathons, and summer programs in collaboration with technology companies and foundations.
While CodeNow has helped students gain critical coding skills, the program is now deepening the engagement of its students. CodeNow believes students should understand their underlying interests in technology, as well as how to create software and applications that solve real problems – problems that impact their families and communities.
