In what ways have your values changed since you graduated from college?
Hmmm... I think as I moved away from the comforts of campus idealism I found myself becoming, if not more conservative, at least less comfortable speaking in broad brush strokes. I recognize it's far easier to offer up gross generalizations and
critiques than it is to try to develop an actionable plan to address the immediate problems of the day.
How do the values you presently hold relate to your work?
Well, daily I need to address issues stemming from global poverty. But rather than focus on broad critiques of the IMF or processes of globalization, I try to figure out how I can help get food aid to famine victims in Malawi...
