Internet breathes life into dying languages


About half of the world's languages are not expected to survive past the end of the 21st century. But this recent article from Reuters explains the role the internet is playing in reviving some of these endangered languages. The internet is especially important as a means of reaching and engaging young people who will be able to pass on this key aspect of their culture.
