How do I post a listing?
Answer:
Only those Groups (organizations, Idealist Groups, and consultants) that have registered for membership with Idealist may post a listing. Consultants must pay a membership fee to be included in our Consultant Directory ($50/6 months, $95/year). However, organization and Idealist Group membership is free!
Once your Group is registered and you have access to the account, you can post a listing by following these steps:
- Login to your Member Account by visiting www.idealist.org and entering your user email and password into the Member Login box on the right side of the screen.
- Click on the "Groups and Listings" tab from your Control Panel.
- To the right of your organization’s name click "Edit & Post."
- On the next screen you will see your Organization’s Entry & Update Menu. Underneath "Add, edit or delete:" you will see a list of all the types of listings you can post on Idealist. Click the link for the type of listing that you would like to create.
- A menu will appear underneath the list. Underneath the tab that says "Active," click "Add New."
- On the next page you will be prompted to post a new listing or repost a previous listing.
