Description:
TITLE
Long Term Co-Worker
BRIEF RESPONSIBILITIES
To create a supportive and theraputic enviroment within a house for adults withlearning differences. This includes, working to a budget, attending training courses in social care, supplying provisions(food etc), managing Short term co-workers, maintaining health and safety, working with the princilples and philosophy of the Lantern Community.
SUPPORT
The Long Term Co-Worker will be supported and supervised by a large team of other long term co-workers.
OTHER ASPECTS OF THE ROLE
Long Term Co-Workers are expected to take part in organising and taking part in community festivals and events as well as the general management of the community as part of a larger team co-workers working together on a basis of consensus.
ACCOMODATION
Appropriate accomodation is provided.
MINIMUM PERIOD OF COMMITMENT
Three Years
PERSONAL EXPENSES
can be met by the community on a needs basis
TRAVEL TO THE COMMUNITY IS AT THE COST OF THE APPLICANT
