Chicago and International collaboration

We have a number of members and interest in this Chicago group from around the world. I wanted to put out the question: How can Chi Idealist Net connect/work with folks outside of Chicago?

If you're from another country especially, feel free to let us know what we can do!

advice on development / Middle East related jobs in Chicago
Date: September 5, 1:01am
Hi,

I'm a Brit currently living in London, but interested in moving to Chicago with my American wife to be near her family and friends. Most of the jobs we'd be interested in seem to be in NY or DC, but I wonder if anyone can recommend organisation in Chicago who might be worth investigating.

I ve worked in Iraq and Palestine on development, policy analysis and advocacy. I'm ideally looking for an NGO working in the Middle East region based in Chicago - any ideas?

Thanks,

Justin

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AAANChicago/ is the Yahoo group of the Exec. Director of the Arab American Action Network, who you might want to contact. His yahoo group keeps up on a lot of the Arab NGO work in Chicago. I'm sure they could offer you more info about opportunities in Chicago.
