How do I get funding as an individual or for my organization?

Answer:

Unfortunately, as we are not a grant making or human resources organization we cannot help organizations or individuals directly to secure funding. If you are with a nonprofit organization, we recommend that you visit the section on the site called Tools for Organizations or the Nonprofit FAQ for additional information about fundraising.

You can also search our database for organizations that may wish to partner with you or fund your projects. To search for an organization that might be able to help you, please visit www.idealist.org, click on the Find link in the middle of the screen, and click on "Organizations." Fill out your search criteria and click on the "Submit" button.

Moreover, if you are an established nonprofit and nongovernmental organization in your country, we recommend that you register for membership in our Nonprofit Organizations Directory.

If you are an individual seeking funding, you can search for grant-making, charitable organizations listed in our database. You can also consider creating an Affinity Group. Affinity Groups are created by people who want to share ideas and resources, get involved in local or global communities, and help create opportunities for others to be involved.
