Is there a volunteer list where organizations can find me?
Answer:
Yes. When you register for an Idealist Member account, you have the option to create a Volunteer Profile. The Volunteer Profiles are kept in a separate database which can be searched by Nonprofit Organizations, Community Points, Affinity Groups and Outreach Teams. If a group views your profile and feels that you may be a good match for one of their projects, they have the option to contact you directly via the email address you have provided.
