How is Idealist funded?
Answer:
Idealist is a program of the nonprofit organization Action Without Borders. Action Without Borders is funded through Idealist's job posting service, membership fees from the Consultant Directory, contributions from individuals, and foundation support. For 2004-2005 we received funding from Ashoka, Carnegie Corporation of New York, The Ford Foundation, The Forbes Fund, POLO Ralph Lauren Foundation, Skoll Foundation, and The Surdna Foundation.
