To find information for a specific state, scroll down in this file or use the find feature of your webbrowser to search for the state's name. If the state is not listed, that means we have not heard of any general-purpose nonprofit support organization there. Any information that can add to or correct this list will be very welcome; please send email to the Editor (editor@nonprofits.org).

Action without Borders maintains a list of organizations searchable
by country (and state) with links to their websites and other
information. See http://www.idealist.org/. The site also has a
list of "support organizations" in the US and around the world. For
the US, see http://www.idealist.org/tools/support-orgs.html#sec8.

The addresses of state charities registration offices are available from the National Association of State Charities Officials at http://www.nasconet.org/agencies/document_view.
