"Other social networking efforts seem to be focussed on career or extra-curricular activities - Idealist.org is a place where you can present ALL of yourself. This holistic approach is important to many of us working within the third sector, as we understand the importance of work-life balance."

Description:
Having done fundraising for non-profits large and small over the past decade, I brought my relationship development skills to a private staffing firm while living in New Orleans Post-Katrina. This experience refined my sales skills /was a great way to build my relationship management expertise. In Portland, I intend to return to social enterprise work. I am a compulsive networker, a certified post-partum doula, the mother of a Quirky child, a feminist belly dance teacher/performer and have many other eclectic interests. I'm also a New Yorker born/bred, and have lived in DC, New Mexico, Virginia and New Orleans. I celebrate a progressive approach to life while remaining practical, and I embrace Change!
