Mission:
The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars is an independent, nonprofit, educational organization founded in 1975. Its mission is to prepare college and university students for civic leadership through experiential education.
The Washington Center's Internship Programs provide full-time internship opportunities in hundreds of offices, bureaus and organizations, including nonprofits, in the Washington, D.C. area. Internships for all majors and interest areas are available. Financial assistance is also available.
