Description:

Coolidge House, a Comprehensive Sanction Center, located on Huntington Avenue in Boston, is seeking a full-time Program Supervisor.

Responsibilities/Duties: Provides immediate/direct supervision for Program Monitors. Oversees shift operations, handling issues as they arise and notifying on-call staff if necessary. Oversees front desk operations. Ensures that medication is controlled and distributed in accordance with program guidelines. Oversees drug and alcohol testing, including collecting and shipping urinalysis samples. Maintains safety and security of facility, in compliance with program and contract requirements. Handles basic maintenance issues as they arise. Works with Program Monitors to ensure completion of shift duties, including head counts, bed checks, and telephone spot checks for residents, building rounds, and overall resident accountability procedures. Completes weekly and monthly inventories, maintains program logs and other extensive documentation.
Attends monthly/weekly meetings and trainings as needed. Takes an active role in supervision of Program Monitors by providing feedback regarding training issues and job performance. Provides guidance and training to new staff on an ongoing basis. Provides shift coverage when needed.

Additional Requirements: Understanding of FBOP Statement of Work, current certification in CPR and First Aid (can provide upon start of employment). Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays is a MUST. Should possess strong interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal), supervisory skills, ability to maintain appropriate client/staff boundaries and resident confidentiality, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to delegate tasks and complete required responsibilities, as well as sound judgment skills are needed to deal with a diverse resident/client population.

Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS preferred or at least 2 years of relevant experience (Criminal Justice or Human Services Fields) to substitute for education. Supervisory experience preferred. CORI & NCIC clearance required. Offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
