Description:
This volunteer summer internship is a "hands on" experience in helping with both the fundraising and communications functions. Skills will be taught in a variety of areas. Fundraising duties include assisting with grant research and grant proposals, as well as a major 20th anniversary gala. Communications duties included assisting with E-Newsletters and a print newsletter; helping with web site upkeep and design; and creating fliers and brochures.
The individual in this position will be viewed as an integral part of our team, and should be able to assume and manage various responsibilitity areas.
Prior experience in fundraising and/or communications is desirable, but not required. The length of the summer internship is flexible, as are the hours.
