Meg is the Director of the Nonprofit Career Transitions Program at Idealist.org. She is the author of The Idealist Guide to Nonprofit Careers for First-time Job Seekers and works primarily with students who are seeking their first jobs after college. One of the best parts of her work is that she gets to travel around the country talking with students and career advisors about nonprofit career opportunities in general, and in particular about the fact that any job that's in the for-profit sector is also available in the nonprofit sector (even stockbroker). Meg is the Secretary of MPACE, co-chairs the National Campaign to Promote Nonprofit Careers, and is on the national board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN).
Jung is the Graduate Education Communications Coordinator at Idealist.org. Jung joined the team in February 2007 as a longtime beneficiary and advocate of Idealist.org's resources and services. She markets the Idealist.org Graduate Education Resource Program to prospective graduate students. Specifically, she promotes and travels with the Graduate Degree Fairs for the Public Good, a series of free events held across North America every year that connect prospective students to social impact grad programs. Additionally, she manages development of and promotes the Public Service Graduate Education Resource Center, the only online space dedicated to informing people about the ins and outs of postgraduate education options that can help them propel their public service careers.
