Our Idealist Resource Overviews are a quick way for you to learn the ins and outs of specific resources on our website. We've designed these presentations to be useful not only for career services office staff but also as presentations that you can send to your students and alumni.

The goal of the International Volunteerism Resource Center (IVRC) is to help individuals make informed decisions about volunteering in another country. Our 30-minute overview of the IVRC introduces free online tools and resources for everyone from first-time international volunteers to returned volunteers and global service alumni, including:

• The who, what, where, when, and how of international volunteering
• Ethical issues and considerations of global service
• Tips for making international volunteering more affordable
• Determining whether to go with a volunteer-abroad program or independently
